    FORUM Pilates (“FORUM”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. In this privacy policy we explain which personal data we collect when you visit our website, book a class or contact us, why we do so and what your rights are. We process personal data in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / AVG).

    Which data we collect and why

    • Account and bookings. When you create an account, buy a class pack or membership, or book a class, we process your name, email address, phone number, booking history and payment status. We need this to provide our services (performance of a contract).
    • Payments. Payments are handled by our booking system and its payment provider. We do not store your full card or bank details ourselves.
    • Sign-up forms and contact. If you fill in a sign-up form (for example via one of our Instagram or Facebook ads) or our contact form, we use your name, email address, phone number and answers to get in touch with you about your classes. Legal basis: your request (pre-contractual steps) and our legitimate interest.
    • Marketing emails. We only send newsletters or offers if you have given permission, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
    • Website use. Our website stores technical data such as your IP address and browser type to keep the site secure and working properly (legitimate interest).

    Cookies and tracking

    We use functional cookies that are needed for the website and for booking. With your permission we also use the Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) to measure how our ads perform and to show relevant ads. You can give or withdraw this permission at any time via the cookie settings on our website. Embedded content such as Google Maps and the booking widget may set their own cookies.

    Who we share your data with

    We never sell your data. We only share it with parties that help us run FORUM, under a data processing agreement where required:

    • bsport – our booking, account and payment system;
    • ClassPass – if you book a class through ClassPass;
    • Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram) – for sign-up forms in ads and, with your permission, the Meta Pixel;
    • Google – for the embedded map on our website;
    • our website hosting provider and email provider.

    Some of these parties may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

    How long we keep your data

    We keep your account and booking data for as long as you are a member and up to 2 years afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Sign-up form details of people who do not become a member are deleted after 6 months. Financial records are kept for 7 years because Dutch tax law requires this.

    Your rights

    You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. Send your request to info@forumpilates.nl; we respond within one month. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

    Security

    We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorised access. If you think your data is not properly secured, please contact us at info@forumpilates.nl.

    Changes

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page.
